F3 and F4 Clone PCB Reissue group buy, also F5 PCBs

OK - just figured out how to load this up.

This seems to download as just F3_F5....... but it is a zipped file, you need to go back and add .zip to the end of the file name and then it should open ok.


Please do double check the BOM before you order in case I have a mistake somewhere. The BOM shows mouser parts - but they don't the Lu1014 (F3) and the 2SJ108/2SK370 for the F5 - you need to sourse these elsewhere.

Members xaudiox and deep surplus here have the LU1014 and tech-diy.com (jackinnj of this forum) has the 2SJ/SK parts. He also sells kits for the F5 (excluding the PS parts).

Have fun! Looking forward to my own build!

Fran, a quick peek. All regarding F3.
I am quite sure P1 for F3 is 10k, as Peter omitted a resistor in series with it.

Some may consider a Vishay Spectrol pot, which is somewhat less expensive. Search for 3296w.

Consider an AC X2 cap for the power supply. Across the 120/240 line It can make a difference.

R5 is a speculative resistor based on VGS of LU1014.
I was able to measure mine out using a dc power supply and Nelsons ZenV9 methodology. you dont need to match these between channels, but the resistor needs to be the right value here for less distortion, per LU.

Peter in that case I may as well get two sets of the F5 boards to add to my PSU boards for the F1 (F3). So $60 for two sets?
