ezDAC Group Buy Interest?

group buy anyone?

Before we all go off and individually buy parts... Has anyone considered doing a group buy for the (majority of) parts? This would save everyone a lot of money (at least that's what experience tells me). Now, the usual rule is that whoever proposes this question just volunteered themselves... I will not follow that rule. I just did a group buy for the revC design. So I will take a break. But if anyone wants to take the lead I would be happy to provide counsel and advice based on my fresh experience.

Im happy to do a GB. Im allready running two at the moment so doing another one would work out cheaper , saving on delivery costs and quantity purchases etc.😀

I've started threads here and at head-fi to get suggestions for S22083 alternatives.

So far, the best alternative appears to be:

(Pulse Engineering) PE-65612 (in stock at Mouser; 281 left)

It may be worthwhile to switch over to Mouser for all the parts, now that they carry the clock and a replacement transformer. They have PCM1794, CS8416, and SRC4192 (which is pin-compatible with AD1896).
