How about this transformer?

Only 4 of the replacement are used; the other 2 could be cut off. If it physically fits on the PCB it should work. It looks like the pins are at the right spacing.
Note DigiKey is out of stock on the original.

Crap! I didn't realize that. I hope we can find an alternate source.
pulse transformer
in the past I made mine out of toroid ferrite rings and 3-5 turns of wire, so it can be intermediate solution but an alternative would be better solution.

how about this one
I am no expert on these, how about this one from mouser
Murrata DA101C
There is also from Murrata DA102 and DA103C but I do not know which one would be more suitable, on the first glance pinout is ok, but with my daughter on my back is hard to type 😀

I forgot to mention that I had started a forum a while back specifically for the ezDAC/ezDual projects. Anyone is welcome to join. It might be helpful for future discussions of the project.

Good news on the clock front. It seems Mouser still has these in stock (but I'd suggest buying them ASAP):

group buy anyone?
Before we all go off and individually buy parts... Has anyone considered doing a group buy for the (majority of) parts? This would save everyone a lot of money (at least that's what experience tells me). Now, the usual rule is that whoever proposes this question just volunteered themselves... I will not follow that rule. I just did a group buy for the revC design. So I will take a break. But if anyone wants to take the lead I would be happy to provide counsel and advice based on my fresh experience.

Re: group buy anyone?
Im happy to do a GB. Im allready running two at the moment so doing another one would work out cheaper , saving on delivery costs and quantity purchases etc.😀

I've started threads here and at head-fi to get suggestions for S22083 alternatives.
So far, the best alternative appears to be:
(Pulse Engineering) PE-65612 (in stock at Mouser; 281 left)
It may be worthwhile to switch over to Mouser for all the parts, now that they carry the clock and a replacement transformer. They have PCM1794, CS8416, and SRC4192 (which is pin-compatible with AD1896).

No problem, your help is appreciated.
I got an e-mail from Newava this morning (good news):
Good Morning:
We will be shipping product to Digi-Key within the next couple weeks. We have had some material problems that have been resolved. Digi-Key will have stock by 2/25.
Thanks for your inquiry and use of our product.
Good news indeed. I'm back on the bandwagon and committing to two boards. Thanks for offering them.
