This depends how you wish to apply it. I buy a cheap medical syringe from ebay and then some needles to go with.

I would like to replace LM317 with some other regulators, do you know what is the power consumption of the board?

I've never measured it, but you should be safe assuming 250 mA.

It seem like a little bit too much 250mA. I'll look into the datasheets later but I think it is more like 30-50mA...

The xformer is unavailable and I would have to buy 1k of the other. But I've found that one now.. all that's left is the isolation transformer and I've sourced the lot.


It's just the usual hiccups one runs into when looking for parts. Unavailability, available but minimum purchase is huge. Etc.

Nothing to do with the selections ezkdude has made, they are all no doubt exceedingly well thought out.
