Hi,
the foil has 2 windings, so you find 2,5ohm from viol to top and 2,5 from top to blue output, you should reconnect the cut you made and look with multimeter from violet to a track near the blue, where you should find 5 ohms or so at a track coming out from the folded part of the membrane. (i once developed a tweeter like this...); here a pic, what the layout of the foil should be (if not damaged) near the terminal...
