Remove IC short circuit pins 1+2 , short circuit pin 9+5
Expect very low or no bias and you need to change resistor or trimmer on the VBE multiplier to achieve bias
Then you got your shelf a typical class AB amplifier ...no more Super class A

I can't even find a proper datasheet for this interesting chip.
Must say this type of JVC equipment was of really awesome build quality.
For the record I have 4 of these chips, removed from a working amp.

Hi .. I am looking for a VC5022 SIP, anyone tried the Chinese VC5022 part available online? I'm reluctant to order one as I have had bad experiences with Chinese parts in the past.
I would guess it is about 50/50 if you order from China. Not necessarily the most faked chip out there, but could still be bad or fake.
Anyway I have 4 used ones if you want.
