I can probably find a decent one to use,buuut number 1 is how do I even mount the thing.lol
If this is one of our your first from scratch build, I would suggest avoiding components like motor run caps. Use cheaper, readily available, compact electrolytic and, when reasonable, film. Get the fundamentals of circuit layout and component scaffolding, then revamp later. You'll learn and make mistakes and eventually you'll know what you want to go the extra mile for. Those motor run caps will introduce mounting and layout complication that, in my opinion, will offer marginal benefit while costing more and potentially fostering an unhealthy obsession with capacitors.

Where are you? Might be able to help out with a few bits for the price of postage. You've got most of the expensive bits, I've noticed 4mm speaker chassis terminals and RCA IP's have gone up a lot, same as everything really. Here in the UK that's compounded by leaving the EU : did no one who voted to leave think how it would affect impoverished valve amp builders? It's the usual nonsense wave a flag and sane folk go mad.

My imagination doesn't quite match my skills yet. Lol I've been exploring my options for electrolytic capacitors. Finding a radial cap with good ESR, high voltage and long life is what I'm going for.
 
The more I explore my options for building this thing the more I realize how lucky I got when I built my fist amp. It was built to the specifications in the circuit diagram using the guts from a portable RCA record player. It was a point to point nightmare with a hv center tap tied to the chassis with no ground power cord. I used a 47uf cap -resistor in place of the Hammond inductor, 47uf filter cap followed by another resistor then the final 20uf gigantic film cap. The 5y3-rectifier (I'm learning) is only rated for 30ish uf.
I have no clue what voltages I was running nor did I understand about how the humming would only stop once the music was playing. It sounded like gold to my ears and that got me hooked.
My only regret is I think my original RCA output tubes took a beating. They have white flakes...isn't that loss of vacuum?

The ground was a star tied to chassis for the filter capacitors and trafo center tap followed by a ground bus. Further reading has somewhat....clued me in about better grounding, but im leaning towards something simplier for the 2nd try Screenshot_20230116-184716.png

You lose a couple of mm in the hole. I suppose I must have a selection of 6mm, 8mm and 10mm. Big ones can be cut down if you are short of the right size, as long as it is tight in the whole. The hardware section in my local DIY superstore had a good selection, along with all the nuts and bolts and serrated locking washers, locking nuts, etc.

The amp im designing has a speaker to headphone dpdt switch for headphone jack to speaker output. Id like to find a nice label to affix to the enclosure. The ultimate solution would be a metal tag(on off) that sits on the switch sandwiched between the nuts, but im willing to accept stickers lol.
