Ebay is the cheapest source of ceramic standoff's but you can use modern nylon jobbies and just fettle a tag out of scrap copper or brass, you just have to be quick with your iron.

I used to use motor run caps and just attached them using Goop glue. You have to give them a solid whack with a hammer to remove them. If attached to plywood, they will strip the top layer from the board when removing them.

I don't use them anymore since DC Link caps became available. Much smaller and lighter.

My enclosure dimensions are starting to fill up quickly! I'm measuring clearances in an attempt at a custom turret/eyelet boards for the main components.
