Why did my staus change to just member? This sucks now i look like a newbie know nothing! Man.....i've helped alot of people here and tried to be good and have most of the time i want my elder staus back...this blows.

This is not a title: it's a function, and not always an easy one.

I can only say that the best candidates for moderators, usually don't jump at offers like that. And the ones who jump, usually don't make good moderators.

You know, knowing nothing in September and knowing a lot now, three months later is kind of disrespect for audio knowledge. I've been dealing with audio for over 30 years now and I know a little, not a lot! MUCH more to learn.

Ther best way of showing that you know a lot is just showing it. People will notice sooner or later.

I agree with this. I have only been into audio stuff for about a year myself, and I don't claim to know much about it. I don't think I will ever learn as much about audio as others on this forum.

I don't see how post count has anything to do directly with knowledge in general... MJK and jcarr bot have less posts combined then the Crying Dragon.. does that make them less knowledgable? Absolutely not. I respect the quality and insight of their posts more then most on this forum.

I couldn't agree more, and my audio experiences go back some 40 years, and yet I still learn something new each day!

Any petty bitching and moaning about apparent loss of any illusory status, is just the kind of attitude you would expect from children who cry and stamp their feet!

Perhaps the name Crying Dragon is more apt than I earlier realised!
