Elektor AXL V2 with Lateral MOSFETs

There s no mistake, Herrflock just changed the output devices but kept the rest of the original schematic unchanged, in the link you posted of the 1985 elektor article that s exactly the same schematic, it s an inverting phase amplifier, other members here can confirm it.

Use an oscilloscope + a signal generator and compare the input sine wave to the output one. They are both in the same phase. That is what I saw exactly in my oscilloscope. You can ask HerrFlick and any other member who has built that amp.
