I use the stock tubesNice, are you using the stock 6AQ5 or 6V6's?
I've had the top off of my TU-8150. I pulled the op-amp and did some listening and, honestly, I couldn't tell the difference between op-amp in and out. So now I put the op-amp back in and switched the jumper to from Ultralinear to Triode. I'll spend the evening listening that way. I wonder if I'll have a preference.
Three days of listening and decided that I definitely prefer triode mode over ulralinear. Improved timbre/resonance. I'll be leaving it this way.
From Lowell:
Just wanted to say how pleased I am with the Elekit TU-8150! It was so fun to build and customize. But the real treat is that lush, lifelike sound… a big improvement in tone and drive over the TU-H80 I was using. Thanks so much and hope to do business with you again in the future. 🙂

I'm eyeing 8200 or 8400, are the Lundahl irons a big upgrade?
Is it possible to run the 8400 in triode mode or just for certain tubes?

TU-8150 has been discontinued for a few years now. 230V option was available back then, I built one of the last units.Hello!
Is it possible to bridge as a mono block?
Is it only available as 110-120 VAC?
