I use a TU-8900 with Lii F-15 in homemade open baffle or with 90db(?) homemade Elsinores. The 2A3 is used all the time. No comparison to the 300B in this setup. Even though the 2A3 supposedly has half the power of the 300B, there is nothing lost in my system. Both tubes seem to go equally loud, but the 2A3 sounds just a little better. A Decware 84UFO is also in the rotation (in picture). I like the Elekit better, but the Decware is not far behind IMHO. The Lii F15 is more efficient than the Elsinores, but the overall sound quality, imaging, etc. in vastly different acoustically crappy rooms, is a draw.

2A3 tubes have something magical albeit half the sound of the 300B. If you want spooky sounds coming out of places you not familiar with then it’s for you, 300B is still better sounding in 8600S - I have had many A/B sessions with friends and they agree 8600S is better for 300B.I use a TU-8900 with Lii F-15 in homemade open baffle or with 90db(?) homemade Elsinores.
