Hi all,
Does anyone have any information about the 10-pin socket from Telefunken (type "30216") which the EL152 uses?
https://frank.pocnet.net/sheets/128/e/EL152.pdf
Searching the web there seems to be some sockets refered as B10B 10-pin which are sold to be used for this:

Looking after the drawing and dimensions to manufacture some good PTFE ones
Thanks
Ale

Are these sockets similar in style to regular octal sockets?
In the same way compactron are similar? EDIT: they're the same
They may utilise 10 pins, but look very much like they fit 12 pin sockets on an octal diameter.
Look for octal and 12 pin relay bases (usually they are rated for 250V however)

I dont know what I am talking about, excuse me.
(I thought they had a centre polarity pin)
But would 12 pin compactron socket work? To my eyes it looks like it would, if you dont use 2 pins.

Hello, I have two of this sockets. What do you need?
Andreas
I purchased a pair of Chinese sockets, but quality is poor as you know. I was looking for the socket drawing with measures so I can reuse for building sockets custom-made.
Worst case scenario I can build the drawing after measuring the valve, but is work I want to avoid if possible as am struggling with free time
thanks

No, I don't think so. It looks like 12-pin compacton, but has 9 pins similar and the centered one is bigger in size.
he dimensions are shown there (B10V socket):

Thanks Andreas. This will do
I wonder why there is little out there on the B10v socket
I will add some manual measurements to this
Let’s see how the sockets turn out like
Cheers

Yes, I've been thinking of them, too. They had been designed by Gerd Reinhöfer himself, founder of this company, who sadly passed in 2013 at the age of only 51. Prices may appear to be on the higher side, but consider that these sockets are made mainly from teflon (with a phenolic base plate) and the pin contacts are replaceble, if needed.
Best regards!

Maybe because there were only four more or less different tube types that were using this socket, EL152, EL153, FL152 and FL153, all made by Telefunken?I wonder why there is little out there on the B10v socket.
Best regards!
Hi all,
test sockets arrived so traced curves and developed Spice model if anyone is interested

Cool, thank you, especially as this model also applies to GU50, LS50, RL12P50 etc.
