That's why correspondence is essential in any theory- at low velocities, Newton's laws work, and relativity is perfectly consistent with Newton. However, Newton's laws fall apart in experimental regimes that were not possible in 1750.
Experimental Basis of Special Relativity
You missed one important point on Robert's and Schleif's web page. They discuss the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation experiments where the velocity of the earth was measured relative to the universe. According to the Einsteinian cosmologists this would be an absolute velocity.

It bears mentioning that this man is trolling you all like a champ. Or a fifth-grade know it all.

I'm one of the few people in this thread (my thread) who is NOT a troll. All those who believe in Einsteinian relativity do so because of herd mentality and not because they understand it. Thanks for bumping the thread.
The great majority of physical scientists, including practically all who conduct experiments in physics and are known to the world as scientific leaders confess, when faced with an irreconcilable criticism of Special Relativity, that they regard it as nonsense. They accept the theory because a few mathematical specialists in the subject say they should do so, or because they do not understand it at all but accept the theory as established by others and therefore a safe framework for their experiments. The response of specialists in this field is either complete silence or a variety of evasions couched in mystical language which serve to convince others that the theory is too abstruse for them to understand and that they may safely trust men with the mathematical talent to write confidently in profound terms.

Anyone who understands Einsteinian relativity knows its impossible. Its the ones who don't understand it who believe it.

Einstein was not a genius.
See, now, right there you lose any shred of credibility that you might have mistakenly thought you had. You can wave your hands around saying whatever you want about his theories, but you simply can't dispute that he was a genius. He was. To state otherwise doesn't help you make your point at all. When you say something that ridiculous, your intended audience won't even entertain anything else you have to say. You lost them.

and that his first wife was ( genius )

And then there is the worry about whether the moment that you are experiencing, you know, the unmeasurable "now", is the same moment across all of the universes? And of course there is that pesky idea of the arrow of time....just try to wrap your mind around the idea that time is an invention, an abstraction laid across the reality of consequences, that move all baryonic matter..suddenly there is no need for now, or time and the question becomes are there any universe spanning consequences and do we and all other experience them with no dislocation we could claim as time, or speed?

Wasn't that a Beatles song?
How was your audio party SY?
I was experiencing Lucia Di Lamarmore live during that time. What a mockery it makes of this hobby!
And yup, I'm pretty sure JL was as worried about now as any of us, but his entire output would have to be viewed as his answer... certainly Lucy and her diamond sky has hints...

Terrific. Robert Ellis played his butt off. Much food and drink.

Now that the neutrino experiments have helped to deprogram you from your religion take a look at my simultaneity thought experiment again and look at:

The mystery has only deepened with the launch last year of NASA's Fermi gamma-ray space telescope. It has observed high-energy photons arriving up to 20 minutes behind zippier low-energy ones from a source 12 billion light years away.
