ECM8000 Pinout?

That is helpful, thank you very much. EU and USA standard differ in the "hot" and "cold" connection. Since I have a balanced input that does not matter in the least for audio or AC. Except for the phase but that is not relevant.

But I wanted to be sure how to connect the phantom power. According to this schematic both signal wires receive positive DC voltage.
Which was not obvious to me at all.

Is the need or option to mark this question as solved?

pin 2 hot and pin 3 cold is the standard everywhere now...

Not having the phantom-power symmetrical would cause speakers and amplifiers to literally blow up whenever mics were switched on and off!! As it is you get pretty loud thumps due to imperfect symmetry.
