About the ot connection...
The schematic from Linde does not use the two intermediate windings of the primary (left drawing) but the original design of the amp did use it (right drawing). Now I have connected without using it, exactly as the book says. ¿Is there any difference about using it or not?
Cheers

Hi,
The one to the right is called ultra-linear.(Often 40% taps)
Not using the taps on the opt does not pose any problem whatsoever.
Cheers,😉

Thank you Frank.
Now I have made one channel with taps and the other without taps so I will find out if my ears are "ultralinear". 😎

Re: re ecl82
There are no better capacitor ...than no capacitor! 😉

Any advise.
