E182CC substituion ?

I am repairing a VTVM and have no replacement E182CC, Any substitutes (same pinout), at least, the time to debug & fix it.

The data sheet says "in many applications it is a replacement for the 5687" so that might be the place to start.

Yes, the 7119 is the alternate part number. Although often mentioned as a 5687 substitute, the 7119/E182CC is really quite different (as is the 7044). If has a higher mu and higher gm, and the plate structure is significantly larger. Both it and the 5687 make nice audio tubes, by the way.

Thanks all, Problem identified, nothing to see with the E182CC, it was a dead Nuvistor! damned I have no spare.
Anyway your info is very usefull to get a spare one for the future.
