Here is the chance to evaluate... even beeing photo machine video.... 320 X 240.... awfull wave audio....mono..... into flash player encoding and home reverberations bothering a lot.
Power was around 5 watts RMS of peak instantaneous power...average around 2 watts..
I have increased to 10 watts to see how the Digital camera holds that.... the camera distorted.

The members of this club are very polite and educated persons without doubth. But they are living in their world, far from our world (if we take into account your speaker in your photo 😀 😀 😀 and my little mission780 speakers with the 10 times repaired woofers).
It is a kind of fetishism such as our crazy for doing everything by our hands.

I can relate to them -- listening to music in a semi hypnotic state, of being there, and you know what. You don't need spend 60.000 euros to do it. Synergy -- it was all mentioned -- it's true, some systems have that magic ability, they sound much much better than you would ever believe possible. You certainly don't have to go to those extremes and dollars. 😱
In fact the system I enjoy the most is also the cheapest I have. Sure, I can pick faults very easily with it but it's just musical and enjoyable.... just makes music.... isn't that what is important.
I don't use the main system very much which has the higher dollar components. The reason being after a while I tend to slip into listening to the gear more than the music which is a shame as it is extremely good. 🙁 I'm working on changing that with some component changes and tweaks to make it less "high end" (hate that term) and more "normal" (enjoyable). Too much of a good thing can backfire and remove some listening enjoyment.

But those green ones you have sent me seems to sound better..... maybe i am fooling myself.... but as a result, fooling or not fooling myself, i am perceiving (maybe making my own mind) something better.
I was in doubt..... could not believe.... this is bill shut in my point of view ... "condensers are condensers and not more than condensers"...they have inductance, capacitance, reactance! and nice colours into the plastic.... different plastic cover, size and different people that loves them...the yellow stripped, the golden things....bill shut was my perception TILL THOSE LAST TWO DAYS.
I have to say...I WAS WRONG!.... i have tried your bipolar special 47uf into my speaker midrange..... the sound came alive.... i said to myself...
- "Foolish!".... you just like Peter...just that... foolish!..... them i removed to test them out... the one i was using had 52uf.... your unit 50uf (the 47uf one)... this is normal... they are the same in value....but the green one sounds better.... then i have installed a switch..... could not believe!...had to switch one and the other..... clear difference!
Sorry..... living and learning... each day more things to learn... this is lovely...but i am hardly ashamed Peter..... i was always against those things; the unobtanium things.... powder of inexistium, sub extract of illusions...but this one resulted better.
But i could not accept that for too long...then i realized the one i was using could be a bad one.... them a replaced with another to compare with the green one...once again the green one was the winner.
And then i have replaced the green one with another new unit.... better once again...but not exactly so loud...maybe because new... first time biased...first time working.
I felt very sad i had told lies to folks.. saying condensers sounds the same..... well... this green one does sound better...for sure it sounds better than the others i have...the ones are common, standard, the normal ones.

Where exactly are you using that green cap....speaker crossover?
As I've said before, I know nothing about amp design and electronics but have had nice results using capacitors from the Nichicon Muse series. I'm only a tweaker and have tried little of other brands. Have played a little with Blackgate, Jamicon, Hitano, Elna Cerafine, Panasonic Fc but I found the Nichicons gave good consistent results at a reasonable price.
Green (BP) Nichicon ES - used in opamp power supplies at the opamp as well as signal caps on CD output and amp input. Blackgate N (red) are better IMO but very expensive and getting harder to find.
Gold with black stripe Nichicon FG - used in opamp power supplies and amp power supplies on the amplifier PCB.
Black with gold stripe Nichicon KZ - used in amplifier power supplies on the amplifier PCB and for bootstrap cap. I liked it as a bootstrap much better than the Blackgate Standard which takes forever to burn in.

Caps measured the same as the ones you replaced?
Why I ask is the caps can vary a bit from the value and I think these are ±20% which could effect the speaker crossover and change the crossover point. If both caps were the same value then the sound differences would be due to the cap only.

This club ACA is located in Athens, the capital of Greece as you know. In the region of Athens they live the half of population of Greece i.e. around 5 million people (included Sakis 😀 😀 😀 Ahahahahahaha ).
Because the worldwide crisis of energy, the public corporation of electricity in Greece two years ago, it has reduced the mains voltage level in other regions of Greece, so as it remains at 230VAC in Athens.
The result is this, in the town where i am living in north Greece the voltage has reduced in 215 to 220VAC the last 2 years. Especially during weekends it plays between 214-218VAC. And my amplifier performance degraded especially when my mother starts cooking and the voltage drops in 210VAC.
