I am looking for dome midrange transducers without ferrofluid and with high Rms values (i. e. low loss suspension and thus high Qms values) and very low Qes values (except titan/aluminium/metal dome - only textil dome, phenol dome, Mylar dome and kevlar dome).

Actually it would take only a recone kit and a PA midrange driver. The side where the horn sits normally is closed. And the closed side remains open.

Swan/Hi-Vi also has a DMB-A. A ferrite version, and a lot less costly.
Dayton Audio has the DC50, unknown if it's FF or not.
Don't also forget the older LPG and Peerless India drivers. You may find one there.

I am going through a similar exercise selecting midrange drivers
Mine is between the ATC SM75-150S and the Volt VM752
In the UK the Volt is readily available as is the base version of the 150 but not the higher performance S version.

Looks like is will be only the Volt VM752 from now on, ATC are out of the DIY game as far as midranges go.
Yeah I know. I was rushing to buy some of the last stock Wilmslow had when I got offered a S/H pair of ATCs locally for <1/3 new price plus shipping.
I have a build planned and all the rest of the parts (active, 4 way) but have to prioritise other stuff first, so maybe late in the year.

What does "not as good" mean? What did you compare, how?
How does the Accuton C90-6-724 fit in the OP's question? It does have reasonably high Qms and there is no ferrofluid.

They used to supply Quested with mids until Quested increased their market share following them supplying Abbey Road with monitors.
Roger Quested then approached Volt for a replacement resulting in the VM752.
ATC pulled a similar stunt when the monitors of another customer (Klein&Hummel, now part of Neumann) increased in popularity causing K&H to delete their top of the range model and last year ATC simply stopped selling mids to anyone.
As far as I know PMC pretty much always made their own 3" dome, they may have started out with Volts though.

The ATC SM75-150 has lower fs and higher Qms than the Volt. And I would be surprised if the Volt has as low distortion as the ATC.
I am crossing my ATC at 390 Hz to the woofer. I guess that would not work well with the Volt, which has fs above that.
