Does this explain what generates gravity?

@TNT can recognise quackery: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/...rmonious-electro-verse-magnetic-verse.392725/

Oh dear, our old adversary cumbb has been banned from the forum! Has he returned in another guise?

Some believe the Electric Universe theory is an anti-science cult: https://www.dapla.org/electric-universe-theory-debunked/

Although they say that the Electric Universe theory is not as ridiculous as the Flat Earth theory.

Btw,
I'm just sharing information and ask questions - for the 'permeable' mind.
No one has to agree with me.
Only the subjective 'experience' (regardless of the concept of time) counts.

A discussion regarding these topics only leads to polarization.

Dear Roland, you are not helping your cause by posting endless examples of Quack Science and Philosophy. More worrying if you have been reading or watching such timewasters, IMO.

We often wondered what planet @cumbb was living on, with his endless weird "Electric Universe" videos, and terse messages that Einstien (sic.) and Hawkins (sic.) were wrong and "Not Scientific" followed by a wink ;>)

Fermi Theory Neutrinos.jpg

As it goes, Fermi's Theory of the weak interaction and neutrinos was rather good. So what do you know?

I have read the odd Philosophy book, and once it descends into Existentialism, Nihilism, Monism, Dualism, Platonism, Material Dielecticism and whatnot my head is entirely spinning, and I am ready to get my laundry done and maybe cut the grass and finish that John Grisham legal thriller afterwards, which seem more practical things.

Of course Quantum Mechanics is totally incomprehensible, but seems experimentally right and has given us the Blue LED. The proper explanation of Gravity in General Relativity and Special Relativity is also very odd indeed, when you realise you don't fall to the ground, but the ground accelerates up at you.

And I doubt any of these things like Quantum Gravity and the Big Bang will ever be fully resolved. Even Dirac turned to gardening in his old age.

My Philosophy is that every day is a new day, thankyou God, and I wonder what excitement and disappointment it will bring. If I check the BBC News I will find out all the newest horrors my fellows are commiting.

The World would be a better place if people found Scientific Hobbies, IMO. Best Regards from Steve in Portsmouth UK.

Credibility
... where he says: " No classical machine can ever be conscious given that classical information is reproducible (program and data can be copied perfectly), while the quantum state is private. Consciousness is therefore not linked to the functioning of the body and can continue to exist even after the death of the body. The body behaves like a drone controlled "top down" by consciousness"

Yeah right 🙂

Today, we are told that 9.8 hours has been allocated to the JWST's task of tracking asteroid 2024 YR4.

https://www.stsci.edu/jwst/science-execution/program-information?id=9239

"2024 YR4 enters the JWST observing window in March 2025 and MIRI observations will enable the only size measurements that will be possible
until 2028. The availability of sooner accurate and high-quality size measurement, only possible using JWST MIRI in Spring 2025, will be essential
for narrowing the range of possible outcomes and allowing effective planning for reconnaissance or impact-prevention missions with arrivals in
2028, and/or preparations for civil defense approaches in the event of a 2032 impact of YR4. The goals of the observations are to determine the size
of 2024 YR4 and thus the magnitude of the threat it poses to the Earth, and to provide additional positional measurements to improve the quality of
2024 YR4’s orbit after it is no longer observable from Earth based facilities. The proposed JWST observations of YR4’s size will be crucial for
developing effective mitigation strategies if needed."

In short, Webb’s MIRI (Mid-InfraRed Instrument) will allow us to get much more precise estimates of the asteroid’s size and orbit.
