More what??System7 - That’s very impressive, but I still have more than you do. 😲
I'm sorry if I got cross here folks. But the fact is half of us would be dead right now without Science.
I spent 5 years at London University doing Science, 4 at Bedford College doing Physics....
I spent years studying physics and EE as well. And now the typical person I interact with is not even aware these topics exist. Job interviews - "What's that?"
Our country eliminated tons of professional jobs and outsourced them to Asia. It's very discouraging. Even AT&T (the "A" stands for "American" in typical hypocritical fashion) outsources engineering to Taiwan. I learned that when I tried to get a job with them.
I have this book that may interest you, though I admit I haven't read much of it:I was checking out the most interesting gameplay organisation, Universe Sandbox which is about simulating Newtonian Gravity along with other stuff, Einsteinian Gravity being considered more demanding on processor time at this point.

What the ‘red mercury’ stories going around after the fall of the USSR?
Apparently it was deadly stuff.

The worlds on fire right now. the isrili and irani want some heat. time to go back to middle ages i think then i can explain gravity with ultimate authority.
time to go back to middle ages
I read that the Middle Ages were a period of massive social change, burgeoning nationalism, international conflict, terrible natural disaster, climate change, rebellion, resistance and renaissance.
Plus ça change...
I think you should read it. It looks good.I have this book that may interest you, though I admit I haven't read much of it:

I have read something similar by Professor Ian Stewart:
I think it was Legendre and Poincare who discovered Chaos in orbital mechanics. The Three body problem which we looked at earlier.
Between Total Chaos and Total Ordered mechanics lie inbetween things called attractors. AFAIK, if the mass of the moon was larger, say 1/20th of the mass of the Earth, all sorts of chaotic orbital things would happen.
In fact the Moon does a lot to stabilise the Earth. Without it, our axis of rotation would be flipping all over the place. And then you have Lagrange Points, which can help Space Probes get from A to B with very little fuel.
The Osiris-Rex probe is pulling this stunt. Having dropped off a bit of Asteroid Bennu and having 25% fuel left, I believe it is off to have a camera look at another dangerous asteroid.

History repeats itself.
Next will be the Crusades II (already started) and witch burning.

Well, at least we have audio forums, that’ll do til something else comes along. 🤗

Book burnings. Or the internet equivalent - a virus that knocks out the site. Or perhaps they prefer a more direct approach, nuking the web hosting facility from orbit. Any place spreading actual knowledge will be verboten.
I hope you're wrong. But a lot of schools in the US now have "alternative" curricula- aka revisionist BS- and the organizations perpetrating this want to burn a whole lot of books. In fact, they want to burn ALL books except for one- if you know what I mean.
World needs too calm down. and each party should Look at themself. Russia amarica king jong ung china china sea israle iraq ukrain brazil canada. What are we trying to achieve here. Everybody want to look more and more manece by each day passing. The jobs are nowere to found. the new jobs , well forget about it. Ai covid compitition. African population burst is at our doorsteps. The climage is changing. Permafrost is melting. Wildfires. Its just getting out of hand. Worlds really is on fire right no.
It's precisely to leave the worries of the world behind me for a short time that I take refuge in this lighthearted science thread.
Please let us not stray from the discussion of science. If necessary, we can always rely on gravity to get us down. 😉

I’m getting very good results using the YouTube binaural beats Schumann frequency 7.8 Hz generator using my iPad whilst playing cassettes on my Walkman cassette player. More open, dynamic and natural sounding.
One wonders how science explains that one. 😲
