Does this explain what generates gravity?

When I went there was plenty of politics - liberal politics mostly, but people WANTED to learn for the most part. Even the beer drinking party crowd. The few that didn’t, didn’t even bother to go to class, got F’s and disappeared the next semester. We had religious and non religious, but that didn’t even seem to matter. I had devout Christian friends who studies their physics, and got A’s.

ICL have an interesting paper out in Nature about light and time in a dual slit experiment...

"This result enables the further exploration of time-varying physics and applications such as ... neuromorphic computation."

Neuromorphic computation models the way the brain works, conveying information that's both temporal and spatial.

https://www.zdnet.com/article/what-...works,so produce more than one of two outputs.

Neuromorphic systems are likely to lead to better forms of AI! 😱

They complain I don't listen to their emotional troubles, As if I care!

🙂

By that definition, I am autistic. I find I get much less confused if I just tune out the droning. All I hear is "WA WA WA." Then when the sound stops, I jump right back into the conversation. It doesn't seem to affect the flow of the discussion much.

I have a seven second rule. If they babble for more than seven seconds, saying nothing basically, I zone out until they're done. I think it goes both ways because I have to tell them stuff over and over and over WOOSH. It makes me feel like I'm wasting my effort trying to help them.

You can’t debunk something that’s not bunk. Excellent name dropping, however. 👍🏻

People generally choose what they want to believe. It’s not necessarily based on anything other than personal preference. You don’t want to get thrown out of the Skeptics Society, do you? 😲

People would generally be better off if they believed in too much rather than too little. - PT Barnum

I'm sorry if I got cross here folks. But the fact is half of us would be dead right now without Science.

I spent 5 years at London University doing Science, 4 at Bedford College doing Physics and a year at ICL doing Telecoms with this extremely bright man.

Without Science there would be no vaccinations against horrible illnesses like Polio, Smallpox, Tetanus and stuff we are not allowed to mention under forum rules.

Food would have run out years back without Agricultural Science.

I do what the Doctors tell me for the most part. I trust other Scientists even outside my speciality.

My own Knowledge includes Atomic Physics. TBH, all good people wish Nuclear Weapons didn't exist. But they do!

Lying Individuals say they don't exist as in the February 2023 edition of this Lying Rag called "The Light" which does the rounds in Southsea, UK:

I read that article and have a hard copy too. It is JUNK Science. I know.

And dangerous Junk Too.

They also say Covid-19 doesn't exist. No need for vaccinations.

It is caused by the 5G phone network according to these people. And vaccinations are full of heavy metals and microchips according to these people.

I meet people in the street who don't believe in Covid-19.... I am usually speechless with them.

Well tell that to the Doctors and Nurses in Portsmouth Hospitals.

Welcome to the Real World. Vicious and nasty as it is. Or as famous Wartime Journalist Ed Murrow always said "Good Night, and Good Luck"!

I have no problem with your statements, but depending how far back one considers science to begin (I don't know much history but I believe Francis Bacon is regarded to be one of the first scientists), I might quibble with that "half" figure - it could be 90% to 99%.
