Went ahead and populated all components, measured the voltages again, they are within 0.2v of prescribed, that may very well be error in my Voltmeter.

Next is about connecting i2s lines, Can you pls guide the connection schema.

As of now, i have shorted Jumper J1 to use in i2s mode. Once it is tested, we can proceed to your i2s to sim module.

regarding IV stage, as of now only 120 ohm resistor is used in IV location.
once a sound test is made, planning for a simple IV. Would this work ?

Hi Harsha,

Try connecting FSCLK to LE, BCK to BCK, and DATA to DL.

120R will be ok for testing but will give audible distortion, best to go with 60R or 70R.

The voltage may be an issue, maybe check with another voltmeter.

Hi,

I can get my hands on a series of TDA1541A S1 versions. Genuine new old stock from a repair company in Belgium so no Chinese fakes.

I would want a few for myself but am able to buy the whole stack of about 15 pieces.
Would there be interest from you guys in these chips?

Hi,
I got one from Meridian cd player but sadly it was not working. This was the reason why i did that dac. Now it is lying in the closet. No listening joy.
Please reserve one for me.
