You're asking too much :clown:

Proper Greedy Boy doesn't:

-read,
-search,
-wait.....

but, after some time, each and every one learn how to be happy

:devily:

I have some idea of what you are projecting, but i personally don't abide by it. I posit G.B. Shaw:

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

AFAIK Chord has been an advocate of switchers since they started (decades ago?)

dave

They started using a supercapacitor array, as of late... with great result. I think this is the future for all digital HiFi sources... (not including a high power amplification).

The Meanwell SMPS's I used inside the ACA amps are absolutely phenomenal. I think once I loaded them with close to 2A (on a test bench), their voltage drop was only a few 10ths of a volt... insanely good. Also, dead quiet AND they very providing nice, low impedance over the entire audio range. I am thinking of using the SMPS's inside my Aleph J as an experiment.

Is there a "quality difference" between P and N channel VFETs like there seems to be if is was MOSFETs where N-channel seems to perform better than P-channel?

Pa said two iterations being of same performances

not 100% sure about, I think sole difference could be phase of 2nd

so irrelevant, just flip the phase of speakers
