micro-seiki.nlI inherited a 40 year old Micro Seiki RX-5000 from an old friend who passed away. I'm refurbing it and believe it needs both lube and a new bearing. Does anyone hear know and is willing to share the size of the bearing in the original? Thanks.
regular & Co.:
This is a shot in the dark: some of the Micro Seiki turntables had a vacuum hold-down feature that employed a silicone gasket that ran just inside the perimeter of the platter to contain the vacuum. I own a Maplenoll Apollo that used the same technology until the gasket fell apart. Might you know of a source for replacement gaskets?
Nice looking project, by the way!
Regards,
Scott

Do any of your parts work with the original? I'm specifically wondering about bearing assembly (I can't even find info on the size of the bearing if it needs replacing). I inherited one from an old friend who sadly passed away and it needs some love. ThanksHi All,
This is A turntable is made by our group.
