Actually, as a practical example, next week a customer will bring in a cd player with a very odd fault . According to the man, every cd played on that machine only plays one time and then not anymore, never, on the same machine. Wonder if the demagnetizer could solve that problem…:xeye:

/Hugo 🙂

One word: hokum! hehehehe
I have heard worse at some local high end dealers though, apparently the new age equivalent to the old alchemists attempting to transmute lead into gold.

That site was pretty funny, the sad thing is that there are plenty of hapless audiophool types who are prayed upon by these charlatans.
GHz tweeters indeed! Quantum clarifiers - bah humbug!! 😀

It is nice to see a healthy dose of scepticism is still alive on this forum.😀 🙄

it could happen if the cd player scratched the cd when it ejected it 🙂

it could scratch the CD *AND* be very pickey about scratched CDs. I once had a "24X MAX" cheapo computer CD-ROM drive that would NOT read a (commercially pressed) disc that had even the slightest scratch on it. I haev never gotte it to read a CD-R. the best I have gotten was on one CD-R (a good quality media writen at 2X) to display the volume title and hang upon exploring it. neversaw any RW's.

I'd be skeptical about that CDP that only reads discs once untill I see it (and don't let the RIAA find that unit!).

This actually showed up on our fax machine one day. Check out the date!

I try to be funny, and stuff like this comes along and blows me out of the water. And they weren't even trying.

Lets not forget that Bedini is also a perpetual motion / free energy crackpot...
