well mbrennwa, yes we can use a standard spdif output or an extra usb-i2s board and then the rtx as an input only. a bit less convenient but ok.:
How is this inconvenient? I don't understand.
also the fft can't use rectangular windowing.
Why not?
Sorry for my ignorance, but I'd really like to understand what I am missing here.
The envelope from RTX has received, thanks RTX!
I am ready!

The vertical edges don't need to be soldered, do they?
And what are these thin (enamelled?) wires for?
Best regards!

I don't remember any sign on the pdf for soldering, so I don't solder anything.
There was two modification from RTX, an early mod1 and the last mod2 "RTX6001 Overload detection problem".
These thin wires are fom the mod1 & mod2.

I have received my mod kits as well. However, currently my soldering iron is used for leaded solder....
The RTX6001 is of course RoHS compliant when delivered. Leaded solder will still work though. I am not quite sure if the small amount of leaded solder will make it non-compliant.
What customers do to it after delivery it beyond RTX's control and responsibility.

So if there aren't any incompatibilities to be expected, I'm gonna use my good old Sn60Pb37Cu3 solder, do I?
Best regards!

Most stuff from the EU gets here in a few days, and U.S. customs has a habit of loosing small envelopes during postal clearance.
In Canada, the letter carriers debate whether to deliver packages or not. We just wait to see the white smoke coming from the sorting facility, then we know to check our mailboxes.

I didn't get mine either, so it's probably just taking some time.
