DIY ACA mini

Seriously?

Yes, seriously. Many people on this forum are not electronics background and have all sorts of simple questions that seem very obvious to the more experienced. We all started somewhere, I am very glad for the people new to the hobby who are trying to figure things out.

@wcwc you strip the cable open and use the internal pairs. It works great!

I have read about using the projects using many pairs of ethernet cable twisted pairs to make speaker cable. Seems like an incredible amount of work, but the hobby can be excessive that way.
It can be challenging to buy shorter lengths of ethernet cable. A couple feet would be sufficient for several amp builds if one is just using internal pairs for input signal wiring. I happen to have a local electronics surplus shop that sells lengths of cable from a larger reel. It may be worthwhile to see if you can find such a shop in your area.

Some preamps have dual outputs, others do not. With the preamps that only have a single set of outputs, so-called Y adapters offer a quick and dirty way to replicate a set of outputs. The dirty bit is introducing multiple RCA connectors into the audio signal path. RCA connectors are not well suited to carrying high quality audio, so it would be better to minimize their use.

A better option would be to look inside the preamp and see if there is a way of making direct wire connections to a new set of outputs. It is certainly more work that way, but ultimately a better solution when feasible.

I remember Steve DeFuria, Audio Visions, was big on the Aleph amps back in the day. To this point I have been undertaking kits that are available complete as I gain insights into the processes, am very interested in an Aleph!

Pusher! LOL. Music is the drug and our systems are the delivery mechanism.
