im going to attempt to build a 4x12 cab and i am pretty new to all this electronic stuff so i need help. First question i want to put in 2 eminence governers(75 watt each) and 2 EMinence tonkers(150 watt each) will the difference in watts affect function? im attempting to make an 8 ohm cab so all these speakers are 8 ohms how is the wiring done on this to make it 8 ohms. And if there is any other tips you can give me on building this that would be much aprreciated

No, the difference in wattage is immaterial.
First wire the drivers so that two 8 ohm drivers are in series. Then wire those two sets in parallel. This will give you 8 ohms.

cool thanks im thinking of making it a straight cab with a removable back do you think this work well? and if you have a pic of the wiring of your cab could you post that please thanks
thanks also one other question i read that if a cab is rated at 500 watts or above it needs speakon connectors my cab will clock in at aroun 450 watts will this constitute speakons and i see speakons used mostly with bass and p.a. so would it be compatible with guitar?
you might think about mixing up the distribution of the two varieties for a better mix of sound too. i.e. a tonker and gov on top and the reverse for the bottom. I say this because unless the box is elevated you will hear more of the high end from just the top 2 speakers. Also, and I know its more of a hassle to build but, if you only have one cab its pretty nice to have a slanted.
In response to your power/speakon jack question, speakons only really matter if you're going to consume that kind of power(something tells me you're not going to run a 400w amp into this thing and run it to clipping). Also, if you're going to play live spare speakon cords are harder to come by then spare 1/4 in if you happen to kill/lose one.
