All engineers are part of the Borg. We have a hive mind.
You're denying that Charles Altmann and myself are engineers then?
In that sense I am skamp. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.
Tea. Earl Grey. Hot.😎
So when Sanken designs output transistors they design them based on immeasurable subjective design criteria
The stawmen are piling up rather nicely on this thread 😀
Still didn't watch then?
It goes for an hour so why don't you explain it in your own words ?

what strawman fallacy ??
how does sanken or any other transistor manufacture design audio transistors ?
Coz I have better things to do? 😀 Martin's the man, much better you hear it from the horse's mouth than second-hand from me.

I guess by leveraging their knowledge of solid state physics.

so what does he say ? you talk like he bags his own product !!

Yes that's right. Nothing to do with subjective audio qualities that can't be measured !!
Listen, and you'll see.
I'm not going to waste an hour listening to a video if you can't summarise it in a few paragraphs.
Indeed which is why I said it was a strawman last time you mentioned it. Its still a strawman. 😀

more so your own post at post 19 since it is totally unrelated to audio 😉
Looks like you've not quite grasped what I mean by 'strawman' - it applies to arguments against some point that nobody's making.

I agree - at this point, nobody is making much of a point in this thread.

OK if you look back at your first post how do you translate those non technical objectives into an actual real world working design ? If you want to play around with numbers why not just pipe it through a dsp and color the sound to the way you think it should be ? That would be a lot easier than playing around with a whole lot of passive components of questionable effect !!

That's what I'm gradually going to reveal in this thread. So stay tuned 🙂 Some of it I have developed already, which I've shown on my blog, other stuff is still ongoing.

False premise there - do you want me to point out what it is or can you figure it out for yourself?

Which passive components are you alluding to?

Its because I'm joshing with the many trolls who've come to poke fun at what a heretic I am. But when you guys stop trolling and start paying attention then we can get down to the real meaty stuff. I have fun whichever way it goes 😀

Ah, OK, I thought this was a discussion forum, not some sort of blog-in-a-hundred-small-messages. My apologies for the misunderstanding. I will stop interfering with your monologue.
