Did anyone here work out the Jubilee throat-vented hornresp model and how it might be applied?

FWIW - Here's a comparison of a vented La Scala vs David McBean's throat vented La Scala.

I set La Scala's back chamber, port area and port length the same as what's in David's model.

One could probably figit with LS's tuning to make it overlay the other case.

No cigar for either. Throat venting could have an aesthetic advantage.

hey Art - what do you get for the 2-12 Jubilee hornresp input? - wonder ~T-S for the 12? - I'd like to see the sim.

oh another question - If I took TB46's "Karlflex" which should tune ~41Hz and gave it a less kongested aprerture, do you think it might then tune 45-48? (vent is at the top) - it should be friendlier to "fullrange" running and look prettier too ;^)

I have not done any simulations for the Jubilee cabinet, and do not have the TS parameters for the Klipsch 12".

The rear chamber volume and port length/area determine Fb (box tuning).
Changing the aperture should not change Fb.

The Karlson front chamber/aperture adds some air mass to the driver, making it's opening larger as you depict should reduce it's air mass loading, raising the driver's virtual Fs from the more "kongested" aperture.
The standard Karlson progressively narrowing vertical slot increases diffraction (and resonances), widening dispersion.

I'll have to cozy up to my blurry screen as don't have a printer to get Jubilee's back chamber volume - I'm guessing the driver is some sort of beefed up K22 but may not b -?

Changing Oliver's K/metro T15 aperture to a Keystone could be beneficial if I use JBL M151 and crossover to mid ~300Hz. (M151 = only 15s I have in a pair) - thieves got 3 out of 4 B&C 15, stamped frame neo PV15s, my 3D TV, another TV -, a rack with stuff, guitars, a fretless bass a good friend made for me, HT receiver, perhaps 22-KSN1016A, not sure about missing phono preamps,
