Diamante -a discrete medium power opamp

Well, if you want 2 boards, I'm up to 7 boards total, and 2 boards would cost you $22 each including shipping. If you want 5 boards, I'd be up to 10 boards total, and they'd cost you $14 each including shipping. If the total order reaches 20 boards, those 5 boards now only cost $10 per board, including shipping.

All numbers are approximate, but pretty close.

So, yeah, not so good value at the moment, but the price goes down fast if you want 5>15 boards, or if more people are interested.

(Shipping would be via prepaid airmail satchels, costing $15, and capable of shipping about 15 or 20 boards, depending on what they weigh)

What would the cost be for say 50 boards? Just want to compare to the prices I will get for the group buy. Is it complete with soldermask, silkscreen and panelization?

Hi MrMajestic - I haven't had a quote done for the initial shipping (from China) for such a large amount of boards. If you want to find out, just email sales@ourpcb.com - they've been very helpful with all my questions so far (about an unrelated order) and they'll gladly give quotes for all number of things.

Their standard service includes soldermask and silkscreen. I haven't asked about panelisation, but their prices per board seem very low (the above prices, for instance, were based on a quote I had done for 6x4" boards, rather larger than the diamante.)

I bet it will sound a bit better after you solder the coil. 🙂

It allows a low impedance path for the music, while creating a high impedance for RF.

Right now eveything coming out of your amp has a relatively high output impedance.

Cheers!
Russ

And it sounds fantastic even without it. Have to get cracking on the coil 🙂 Thanks Russ.
