I know this was meant as a joke, and it is one, indeed.
Connecting the drain with the gate makes the upper mosfet equivalent to a diode.
And the whole thing remains what it is, just a mosfet.
I almost fell for it though.
Anyway, I checked curves using my BF961 dual gate sample, and they remained pentode like.
Sorry, no triode ...
