Decware MODEL SE84C-DIY

At last, a DIY Kit from Decware that's affordable! Only $299

Some changes from the regular SE84C:

Solid State rectification Vs Tube rectification

Circuit board Vs Point-to-Point wiring

Assembly instructions lack some important steps
but okay for those with tube amp building experience.

The assembly instructions also include specs from the
standard model including wording stating that the unit
is point-to-point wired while it is a circuit board model.

Looking forward to seeing other opinions on the newest
entry into the kit tube amps.

Chris

I agree. . .cheaper kits would be nice. . .since most of the cost
is usually in the labor supplied by the buyer. Unless it is very
special iron in the transformers.

Solid state rectifiers are just as easy to change out as a tube
rectifier; they drop less voltage and run cooler.
