Hi and good site: www.dipolplus.de 😉
I'm constructing dipole speaker too...
-----------------------------------
About DCX volume control, I have design the pcb for this Alps pot and replacing dc coupled capacitor by Nichicon muse 220uF/50V caps themselves bypass by styroflex type caps.
I can only give you a .pdf with the circuit board because my HD failed 😡
The control have been done during a time with a simple
I'm working on a simple pcb with two push button and ir receiver allowed remote volume control.

Really good..but I don't see the price!...surly too expensive for me. 🙁
My 2 Cents: http://www.sle.se/products/v8pro/
Markus,
if their product is as outdated as their webpage, I wouldn't buy it. They don´t look like they are ready to sale yet ... 🙁
Sorry for that failure. 😱I can only give you a .pdf with the circuit board because my HD failed 😡
I would love to get that pdf. But if you will have that pcb with IR control ready in a foreseeable future, I would be happy to buy a spare pcb of that from you.
You find my email adress at dipolplus.
Some last questions about your actual solution:
Where do you take the power supply for the motor (blue/white wire) from? And where is the white (ground?) wire leading to?
Thanks for helping
Rudolf

Why does everybody assume that a device does not sell or is outdated just because there was no website update? I have bought a unit in 2007 and it's working just fine.
Best, Markus
why has post19 got 4.9Mb of pics attached to it?Hi, just a little post about my integrated DCX volume control!
it took my broadband almost two minutes to download the unwanted files. Pity the poor guy/gal with a dial up connection.

HUGE pictures 😱
He should use http://www.shrinkpictures.com/
Its a great free utlity to shrink pictures.
Sorry for my too big pics attachement!!
Good question Rudolf 😉
The white ground wire goes to the ground line under the output pcb of the DCX!
The alimentation of the pot is only plug on three positions, two ways no permanent switch, but I'm already working on the IR solution. The switch is outside the DCX and I use the power supply of he DCX.

another possible option:

I think the 8 asymetrical stereo channels could be used as 8 mono symetrical ones.
