Thanks, this is a "play" thread to design something, build it, and test it to see how close the prediction was. Same full range driver used in designs from subwoofer to horn.

Thanks, I have read (inspired by) the Edgar midrange tractrix paper. I also tried his "leaky" throat trick using a gap and foam. At the time I concluded the PC83 motor was just not strong enough. I did manage to get to 5KHz but it also had a dip that I needed to EQ out.
