You want a short throw, true midrange driver.
This SEAS MCA12RC has .9mm Xmax, is about the right diameter and has a smooth response. Adjust the padding in the crossover to match the sensitivity:

I remember Philips advertising their change to aluminum coils for better power handling.
I know their M version of the driver had a cloth surround. They could have had some cloth versions of the W, especially for a large customer. The cloth M version with whizzer cone was used in the Rectilinear III.

If you intend on continuing to use the midrange dome in any redesign I think you could use one of the SB Satori drivers but an old fall back would be the Vifa p13wh.
The orange (earlier) version sounded the best.
I bought these by the case (32 pcs)!
Infinity Qb with the 5060SQ8 midrange.

Based on the number of pictures that I've seen with the AD5060/W8 mid woofer I'm
going to say that I was wrong about the SQ8 version ever being used.

Just bought what appear to be later production, gently used, DQ10s, serial numbers 49XXX
range. They have the AD5062/W8 midwoofers and to not appear to have ever been worked
on. There are no signs of overheating anywhere in the crossover. I believe that the AD5062
version came from the factory and it is a good thing because they have much higher thermal
capacity.
The mid woofers had these markings, guessing that they are from 1983:

Hallo there.
May I have the dq-10 dimension?
Also a close look of the front protection.
I want to try to replicate them.
Thanks!

I am confused as to why you all keep referring to your speakers as Dahlquist DQ10’s. There was a reason they were considered by many as top ten speakers of all time. A 356 Speedster replica is “not” a Porsche Speedster. A box filled with drivers other than original is just a box with drivers in it. Things are only original once.
Just saying.
