Quanghao, the DAC is LOCK-ing to PCM 44k before foobar was started.

I do not know jriver AFAIK it is not free. I do not need a mediacenter I need a compact free enviroment to play SACD iso and hi-res and is remote controllable by an android device - as foobar. I do not like commercial software I would throw out windows if I can.

Andrea, what do you think your controller firmware can cooperate with an Xmos card or Amanero specific?

Do you see only 44KHz on display using Foobar2000 and Amanero usb module ?

To use Foobar2000 you can follows the guide on: H i F i D U I N O.

- download the last player
- SACD support (foo_input_sacd-0.6.1.zip to get foo_input_sacd.dll and - ASIOProxyInstall-0.6.0.zip)
- ASIO4ALL (ASIO4ALL 2.11 Beta1 to get foo_dsd_asio.dll)
- Kernel Streaming support necessary to play 384KHz tracks (foo_out_ks.dll)
- copy foo_input_sacd.dll, foo_dsd_asio.dll and foo_out_ks.dll in the directory C:\Program\foobar2000\components

If you select as output device the ASIO4ALL when you start to play any tracks an little icon will be insert in the Windows application Bar.

I could not edit my message as you so this part of the thread has no meaning now.

I know this(asio) and had tried without success. I may try this out again at night if you want. You have not answered to my questions - I do not think this is only foobar problem.

The last I was tried was KS as I wrote earlier and this is the best until now. I will try the others - cable,freq- at night.

To work in asio it is necessary to load another driver:

Index of /asio

ASIO4ALL installation can create problem with this pure ASIO driver.

To know if the DAC boards have problems test with KS on JRiver trial version and tell me if the sound is ok and the frequency change on LCD.

OK, thanks. AFAIR I installed this driver following Hifiduino, but I can not be sure the firmware conf was the same. For example after flashing the Amanero fw do I need to make the pcm,DSD channels swap with all fw version? My experience was it ruins everything. I will repeat the process for sure.
