Could you send me a photo of your transformer ?
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Yes, this is the standard from Quanghao
For the 200-230V connection use:
wire Yellow/Green to ground
wire Blue only to wire Yellow
wire Red to input
wire Brown to the other input
The question was for 110vac.
For 110vac I think:
Red and blue together to mains neutral
Yellow and brown together to mains live
For 110vac I think:
Red and blue together to mains neutral
Yellow and brown together to mains live
gjorgji,
for 110vac you need to wire the two primaries in parallel,
connect the mains neutral to the start of both primaries, live to the ends.
The start of a winding is usually marked with a dot.
🙂
I tried to find a pickit 2, but every one I found was in the 60-70 $ range and the link on ebay given previously was dead. Any suggestions to get one at a reasonable price?
Otherwise, I would ask a friend, but as I have already discovered, it will take many months (at best)...
Too bad this has not been done before delivering DAC...

Just flashed mine with this
Clone Mini PICKIT
Windows even installed the correct driver for it by itself.
Here is a link for the even cheaper linked previously.

Thanks. Re-wired and works fine now.
Hi myfavoritething,
- I bought this one for 24.99 $ (19.45€) but I think you can get it cheaper.
- PICPRO software here.
- USB drivers here.
I received mine yesterday. It is the first time that I work on PIC and I have all to learn.
- Quite simple to use but I encountered some issues while setting it up (It did not found automaticaly the right port) and then while programming (error in ID).

Hi Quanghao,
I am back home, when you want you can send me complete DAC with USB.
You can update the firmare and make corrections on op-amp module and DAC module ( post #1459 )?
You need my e-mail for shipping?
Thank you very much.
Claudio

!!! WARNING !!!
I just installed the shield and I noticed that the pins of the USB socket on the backside of the Amanero were touching the shield.
The pins were about 3mm long, cutted them close to PCB: problem solved 🙂
I have the impression that the DAC sounds even better with the shield, very low level details are more easily heard, sounds more relaxed.
Could also that my mind is playing tricks with me 😉

No tricks - the placebo effect is as good as the real thing😉Could also that my mind is playing tricks with me 😉
I do not think it is Placebo but noise not received from the Usb to the analog side off the dac.No tricks - the placebo effect is as good as the real thing😉
Hi Palmito,
I have the LL1684 hooked up like in this schematic.
Attention: the pin layout is from the bottom view (where you can see the pins), not like in the LL1684 pdf where it is the component view (where you see the label).
Regards,
Danny
Hello,
I want to keep the possibilty to switch output between balanced and unbalanced. Can i use this schema ?

Doesn't look good to me,
pin 1 on XLR should be connected to 1-4 bridge on LL1684
Pin 1 on XLR connects directly to chassis - always.
Pin 2 = + hot transformer
Pin 3 = - cold transformer
Let the secondary of transformer 'float'.
