irfp260N should not hot, btw need to see switching freq, if more than 250khz ofc irfp250 and 260N will be heat slow rds on, change gate resistor 33 ohm, but the power output will be less. if you want full power for 250/260 change freq to 250khz then it will be ok. yes inductor is very important no 1 in class D amp, wrong inductor will cause lack power at output, i have build pair version this amp with irfp260N, very stable at +88 -88 vdc

i guess it is a good amp because wakhu post video on you tube of all his amps while they are working and also testing them with a huge load. e.g full bridge at 2ohms

Dear sir plz.solve mu solve my problem i used irfp90n20 which becomes warm my fsw 250hz.gate resistors are 47ohm my core is micrometal ms 157-2 with 22henry.i used sunil type pcb.please:solve my problem

my design , based on etjale 1200 watts .
the amp is clear but the hf noise at low volume is the issue

Have you found how to solve the hf noise? Have you tried to run the amplifier with regular power supply?
