Hi,I need a bit of help with a crown k2 that I'm trying to repair.the problem is that the amp seems to be power cycling, when feeding a signal the signal lights will glow brighter as does the power light but then the audio cuts out and all lights dim as if the amp is going to sleep but then will kick in again randomly.
I put a link in to bypass the sleep circuit but the problem persists
I removed the input board and there is nothing obvious.
Any help is appreciated

Is it power supply or power related.
What happens when you test the output transistors, wait until total discharge first!

Haven't got too far into it yet,was hoping a sleep bypass would do something for it
Will have a closer look at it on Monday And report back

I have K2 with the exact problem but remedies itself when warmed up. Sleep mode was bypassed long ago. Did you find the cause?
Haven't had a chance to look at it this week, hopefully get some time on it in the next couple of days.
The last time I looked at it I found a suspect resistor and a couple of caps but didn't have time to investigate further.
I read some where that 100uf caps either on the input board or main board are the first to let go
I will update when I get any new info
