Crossover multiplyer

Hello,

My first post here, seems like a really cool board.

Anyhow, I have a question. I have a mobile amplifier which has an onboard HP/LP crossover variable from 50-200Hz. What I need is a point in the 600-900Hz range, so I was thinking a crossover x10 multiplier switch might work giving me a range from 500-2000Hz. Several amplifiers/crossovers use them, Im just not sure exactly what it is.

I recieved a tech paper a while back showing how to do the mod on a different amp, but I deleted it a while back accidently. It was just a simple resistor swap. I searched here, but didn't come up with much. Any chance someone here would happen to know how to modify the crossover section to achieve a x10 range?

Thanks for any help.

Well I wish I had one but I dont. I'll see if I can get one, but I doubt it will happen. I have a pic of the board if that helps any, but it is too big to post in this forum.

I could send it to someone if they are willing to help, or I will try and get ahold of a schematic.

Thanks again.

If you really can't figure out how to look at part, read the value, and replace it with a value that is 1/10th the original to make it 10X the frequency, then there maybe you should have someone else do it for you.

This isn't rocket science.
