Craigtone/Korneff 45 Amp transformer center taps…

Thanks!

Going to add a thermistor to my next order and get it installed.

So far, it’s sounding pretty good with my FE168Ez manifold horns.

No noise or hum. Miracle considering the amount of iron shoved into the box.

Parts arrived last week and had time to finish it up.

Added the thermistor on the main AC, which put my B+ at 333. Voltage on the plate is 320, and I’m getting 50 on the cathode.

6SN7 is getting 148 with 4.5 on the cathode.

I used some .2ohm 5w resistors to drop the ac to the 45 heaters and they are 2.5 exactly. Did the same w the 6SN7 with a .3ohm 5w resistor and it is 6.3v exactly. The 5U4G is at 5.23 v, and as I accidentally ordered a 5 watt in stead of a 25W to drop that, I’m going to leave that for now. Plus, real estate in this build is at a premium, so I may just leave it.

Thank you for all the help to get this right!

Time for some music…
