WE 300B tubes are manufactured in the original (1930's) Western Electric factory in Rossville Georgia USA.

Close. Some of the Kansas City Works tube production equipment is in use at the Rossville plant. The Rossville plant is a new facility set up by Whitener. Western Electric predominately manufactured tubes at the massive Hawthorne works in Illinois, just outside Chicago. Western Electric later moved tube production to Kansas City in the 60’s. Engineering work was carried out in New York.

Many people, over many years, have doubted Whitener, calling his efforts vaporware. But, he’s proven them all wrong.

How many tubes out there have a five year warranty? I can’t think of another. 🙄
