A Neumann 103, that's a very specific use case lol 😀
Even the best measurement mics are at least a order of magnitude higher in distortion.
If it's so tricky to maintain the performance all because of the implementation of phantom power, I personally would either make it as something that can be bypassed, or just as a separate unit.

This week got some toys from Cosmos.
Below the results from a loop DAC to ADC test in ARTA.
And in REW
With Calibration
There are little differences between Arta and REW.
Is this the best I can expect?

Thanks, just learning the possibillities.
Need the Cosmos equipment for optimizing opa1611/12 preamps and super low noise voltage regulators.

BTW, REW has a wonderful new feature "Crosscorrelation" to compensate for the ADC's noise. Even without APU, only with ADC, I see THD+N -125.7db for 9039S, and DR 130db(A). Your result isn't bad too, -2.6dbfs means that at 0dbfs you'll see the THD+N something around -120db stero, or -122db mono.
PS: I gonna make a donation for the REW right now!

damn, Chinese Paypal says: 此国家或地区不支持捐赠给此收款人 = Donations to this recipient are not supported in this country or region.
Actually, we used it many times with UK no prob.. Ok, I'll try something else.

Hahahaha! I know what you're asking, but look at those results! Even three years ago, imagine getting close to this, especially for the price.
Which reminds me... When will the Cosmos DAC be available? 🙂 Separate balanced and unbalanced outputs with small termination resistors so that you can't have an accident on a lab bench with a short circuit. Maybe, just maybe, USB isolation or just a separate DC power supply input.
My total cost was about 575 euro for DAC, APU, ADC, cables and tax. What is the cost for a complete set?
I added corrections for the harmonics in the notch calibration file, in the future these will correct the measurement.
Monstercore, how can you read such numbers every time you count the zeros? Why don't switch to dbfs?
I got your idea with the harmonics compensation file, it is creative but may work only for the followers i.e. with 0db gain amps.
I recommend you switch the 9039S MLCK from 49MHz to 24MHz and compensate H2/H3 with Tweak_9039.exe. 90% of the probability that you'll get all harmonics less than -150db.

I was grown up with SNR in db and distortion in %.
I will try the tweak app. I hope not to brick the DAC.

The app can't brick the DAC but FW reflashing process, so be careful if you gonna change the FW, do not touch the cable and DAC until the new FW is uploaded.
Oke I used the tweak file. For results see the pictures, only third harmonic was lowered. Second harmonic was already optimal.
Tried also lower clock speed.
Starting point
With the tweak app
With Correction in REW.
I still do not know what the spikes in the 17k region are.
But this is a goodstart for my future measurements. Thanks IVX.
