here is a pic with the cover off--these covers were cut with a mill at a machine shop to get right between the holes for a perfectly smooth edge-no shear can do this.i will go to the machine shop next week to get a rough idea of what 20 sets would cost

i just got some sticker shock-- a 48x120 inch sheet of perforated aluminum is 702.00, 40.00 to shear it into 15x15 rough pieces.i haven't heard back from the machine shop that will mill it to 13x13 but i'm going to go out on a limb a quess at a total price of 85-100 a set. anyone still interested at these prices-or scrap the idea-bubba

I feel that the quoted price of perforated sheet is very high. what is the thickness that you were thinking of?
