impressive, i'd like to build MTM center with this driver, I'm wondering it's sensitivity stated on datasheet 93dB but when i look at the graph it looks like 90dB. I will use 2x SB17NRX so i'm expecting this coaxial to match NRX sensitivity and avoid to pad down using resistor.
n0 = (9.7822 * 10^-10 * 6.3 * 88^3) / 0.35 = 0.012%
SPL @ 1W/1m = 112.2 + 10 * log(0.012) = 92.9918 dB
SPL @ 1W/1m = 112.2 + 10 * log(0.012) = 92.9918 dB
for anyone contemplating a similar design, I would like to point out that KEF Q150s are on sale for $299 a pair. There is no cheaper way to get a pair of 5" coaxes and these have probably the smoothest response. Erin's Audio Corner just reviewed them and has posted measurements.

Hi. In this project passive XO beetwen mid and CD? Can your write details?This is an OB with 2x12" MCM woofers and Faital 6HX150 (closed cabinet). I made it four years ago. Unfortunately I have a problem accessing the LspCAD files ATM so can't post measurements and project files. The 6HX150 is an excellent driver (both the mid and the CD) with low distortions, but does require some work to EQ the response to flat - specially the cone' resonances. The CD is easier to deal with, IIRC it was a single 2.2 uF cap plus wide-Q RCL EQ. Done right the sound is excellent, subjectively with lots of microdynamic and details. The pairing with the MCM twins was successful, making a passive x/o possible.
