Utopia/lab conditions don't guarantee normal expected operation at home which is IMHO what really counts.

I'd venture to guess that the utopia/lab conditions for EMI/RFI are probably on the conservative side if anything. Unless you live under a broadcast tower.

I would also argue that lab testing separates the wheat from the chaff.

NO RF shielding is needed .... if you live inside a copper home.

Without windows, doors, feed-throughs for power, internet, etc. and soldered shut.
