No hybrid, just one tube per channel + output transformer, shunt regulation for B+. It's pretty funny, the supply for this one tube amp is much more complicated than the amp itself. The whole thing weighs a ton, but the sound is very nice and detailed.
I got a couple of 307A tubes from Pete Millet with the intention to build another headphone amp using them, but as I said, not so much motivation now that I have a good amp to listen too. Haven't given up completely though, it'll get built in time. Still curious about a hybrid dht+buffer too.
