Class A Amplifier using IGBTs

Today i built a stereo class A amplifier using FGA25N120 IGBTs, all it took was three resistors and a capacitor.

This is the first solid state class A amp i ever built.

Schematic? Did you listen to it and what are your impressions?

The circuit is very similar to the pass zen lite circuit.

The sound is decent, can't really tell until i've gotten rid of the hum.

I have power amp. schematic use IGBT but I do not know how it work.

I rebuilt the amp today:

I have now replaced the igbts with mosfets, more exactly IRF3205's.

Schemo:

It seem to sound better now with mosfets, bias current is around 3.6A per channel with an input voltage of about 14V.

Today the new psu caps arrived:

The amp now barely hums at all.
